THE PRODUCTION

Starring (the couple affectionately called the local Barrymores) Ted Yudain, Gail Yudain, and David Jackins. As our lead actors are married, no need to social distance them... and our third actor has been deemed "safe". All other crew members in the theater for the performance will be masked and/or at least 12 feet distanced. We take the health of all very seriously!! Hopefully in the not too distant future, we will allow a small in-theater audience, but until that day... PLEASE join us for our FULL THEATRICAL PRODUCTION for the play replacing ON GOLDEN POND.

SHOW DESCRIPTION

How far would you go for someone you love? A summer cottage on Chesapeake Bay… a man tormented by the menacing grip of an aging mind, and facing an uncertain future has a plan – but it’s not what his family had in mind. Through twists and turns, deeply recognizable family relationships, and of course, humor.... all combine to carry us to a place where dignity, honesty and humanity take hold and refuse to let go.
The Outgoing Tide is a touching family drama that asks what it means to truly love someone.

“…this drama brings sensitive observation and minor-key humor to painful situations that many of us will recognize from our own families…its poignant conclusion will have resonance for many in the audience.” —NY Times.

“…superb…tightly focused piece about a family of three…Graham zeroes in on recognizable truths.” —Chicago Tribune.

“The characters are well-drawn, the dialogue is pungent…The script’s frequent time shifts from present to past and back again are handled with a telling simplicity…may well flood your emotions with its emotional truth.” —BackStage.
