REQUIREMENTS / NOTICE: All actors are fully vaccinated, except for our 8-yr-old who is continually being tested. To keep our audiences, actors and crew safe, we now REQUIRE PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION for ALL who attend, and MASKS MUST BE WORN throughout the production. Attendance will be capped at 50% capacity (for now…. unless covid flattens back to approximately 1% positivity rate in Fairfield County). If you purchased tickets prior to this revised notice, and don’t meet the requirements, we will refund your tickets. Sadly for anyone over 12 not vaccinated, we can not accommodate. Under 12 must be vaccinated as soon as CDC allows, but until then, we will allow… but they MUST wear masks throughout. Our goal is to keep LIVE theater alive!

THE STORY: Thriller based on the novel by Henry James, genuine chills are provided in this tale of a governess, left in charge of a boy and a girl at a lonely estate, who begins to suspect that the ghosts of two former servants have hideous designs upon the children. But the governess is the only one who can see the ghosts—and to complicate matters further, the children may know more than they're telling. If the governess is right, the children are in terrible peril, but if she's wrong, she herself might be driving them mad. With every twist in the plot (or turn of the screw) the tension increases until something—or someone—must snap.

Revered as one of the greatest ghost stories ever told, Henry James’s novella, The Turn of the Screw is an eerie Victorian masterpiece.

"Oscar Wilde called Henry James's chilling The Turn of the Screw 'a most wonderful, lurid poisonous little tale'."

" The Turn of the Screw is an intense psychological tale of terror." - cscanada.net

"Edge-of-your-seat exciting." -Richmond Times-Dispatch

"The Granddaddy of all ghost stories." -WRVA-FM

The Turn of the Screw is produced by special arrangement with The Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Illinois.
