We could really use your help to update our theater!!!

We are now in our 73rd year!  For many decades we had no permanent home, but it was 1983 — when Ronald Reagan was president, Gandhi won the Oscar for Best Picture, the Baltimore Orioles took the World Series — that the Town Players of New Canaan completed renovating an abandoned stone powerhouse in New Canaan’s Waveny Park into the Powerhouse Performing Arts Center, a 115-seat community theater. The building has served us well for more than 30 years, but it is time for renovations, specifically for the lobby and related facilities.

2019/2020 will see a major fundraising effort by the Town Players of New Canaan, with all monies going toward renovations and upgrades to this gem of a theater that our audiences will appreciate as much as the performances they come to see.

Would you be willing to be one of our ANGELS?  Every dollar will help!   We THANK YOU!

We hope to continue to entertain you for the next 73 years!
